1. Who we are
Chit Tracker is operated by Puneeth Kumar E, an individual developer, Noida, Uttar Pradesh, India ("we", "us"). For any privacy question, contact our Grievance Officer: Puneeth Kumar E, puneeth@turings.xyz.
2. What Chit Tracker does and does not do
- It helps an organiser record chit groups, members, instalments, auctions and payouts.
- It does not collect, hold, transfer or pay out money. Members pay the organiser directly, outside the app.
- It does not run chit schemes, find members, or take any commission.
3. Data we collect

We do not collect PAN, Aadhaar, bank account numbers, card details, contacts, location, photos or messages. Please do not enter them in notes.
4. Members' data
When an organiser adds members, the organiser decides what member data is entered and is responsible for having the members' permission. A member can ask the organiser, or us, to correct or remove their details.
5. Who can see your data
- You, the organiser who created the group.
- People you choose to share a group with, if you use sharing features.
- Our service providers, only to run the app: Supabase (database, stored in the Mumbai, India region), Google Firebase (OTP login), Vercel (website hosting), and Google or Apple only if you choose to sign in with them. They are bound to protect the data and use it only for these services.
- Authorities, only when legally required. If we receive a valid legal request, such as from a court, the police or the Income Tax department, we must provide the requested data. We do not share data with any government body otherwise, and the app does not report anything automatically.
We never sell data and never use it for advertising.
6. How we protect it
- Data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS) and at rest by our database provider.
- Each organiser's groups are separated so no other user can see them.
- Only the developer can access the database, and only for support and maintenance.
7. How long we keep it
We keep your data while your account is active. When you delete your account, your login is removed and your name, phone number and email are erased immediately. Payment and auction records in a group are kept without your personal details, because the organiser and other members rely on that history. If you are the only organiser, your groups are closed and hidden from members. Erased details are cleared from our backups within 30 days.
8. Your rights
Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you can:
- See the data we hold about you
- Correct or update it
- Delete your account in the app (organisers: Settings → Delete Account; members: Delete my account on the home screen), or by emailing puneeth@turings.xyz
- Get a copy of your data by emailing us
- Withdraw consent by deleting your account
- Complain to our Grievance Officer, and if not resolved, to the Data Protection Board of India
We reply to requests within 7 days.
9. Children
Chit Tracker is for adults (18+). We do not knowingly collect data from children.
10. Changes
If we change this policy, we will update the date above and tell you in the app before the change takes effect.
